We collect only the information that is necessary to provide you with the best possible experience while using the Kaaso Ads mobile application. This includes personal, technical, and business-related data as outlined below:
a) Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
When you sign in using your Google account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture. This information helps us create a personalized and secure experience for you inside the app.
b) Device Permissions
We may request access to your device's camera, microphone, storage, and location to enable full use of features like poster design, video ad creation, and campaign customization. These permissions are requested only when needed and are never used in the background without your action.
c) Media Files (Images, Audio, Video)
You may upload or create visual and audio content (e.g., business posters, jingles, and promo videos). These files are used exclusively for your business campaigns and are processed securely using our media engine.
d) Location (Optional)
We may request access to your location in the future to offer localized campaign suggestions or geo-tag your content. You will always have the option to deny location access.
e) Business-Related Data
As part of your profile or campaign setup, we may collect information such as your shop name, brand logo, and other related business identifiers. This information is used only within the app to customize and deliver your ad content.
3. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used solely to deliver a functional, personalized, and secure experience within the Kaaso Ads app. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
a) Account Authentication
Your Google account details are used to verify your identity and maintain a secure, consistent session each time you use the app.
b) Media Creation & Campaign Management
Uploaded or recorded media files (images, audio, video) are used to create advertising content for your business. This content is processed by our secure servers and is used only within the context of your campaigns.
c) Business Identity & Branding
Details like shop name, logos, and slogans help us generate templates that reflect your business branding across various ad formats.
d) Optional Location Services
If enabled, location data may be used to suggest nearby campaign trends or assist in geo-tagging your promotional content.
e) Service Improvement (Optional)
In the future, we may use anonymized or aggregated usage data to identify performance bottlenecks and improve the quality of user experience.
4. Media Access & Usage
The Kaaso Ads app enables you to create rich promotional content by using your device’s media features — including camera, microphone, and file storage. These permissions are requested only when needed and are never used without your active participation.
a) Camera Access
Used when you capture a photo or video directly within the app for your advertisement. We do not access your camera in the background or without prompt.
b) Microphone Access
Used when you choose to record voiceovers or audio clips for use in your business ads. No audio is recorded or processed without your explicit action.
c) Storage Access
We may request access to your device’s file system to let you upload images, logos, or other media for ad creation. The app does not scan, read, or modify any files outside your selected content.
d) Upload & Temporary Storage
All uploaded media is temporarily processed and stored securely on our cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS S3). Files are only accessible to you and are used solely within the context of your campaign workflow.
e) No Background Collection
The app does not perform any hidden or background collection of media data. Every media-related action is user-initiated, transparent, and controlled.
User-Uploaded Content
When you upload backgrounds, media, or creative assets to Kaaso Ads, you are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
Kaaso Ads does not pre-screen or actively monitor content for copyright compliance. If we receive a valid complaint or legal notice regarding infringing material, we may remove or disable access to that content without prior notice.
By uploading, you represent and warrant that you own the content or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use and share it. If your uploaded content violates any laws or intellectual property rights, you agree that the responsibility and liability rest entirely with you, not Kaaso Ads.
Takedown Requests
Kaaso Ads respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that any content available on our platform infringes upon your copyright or other intellectual property, you may notify us with a takedown request.
Upon receiving a valid complaint, we will investigate promptly and may remove or disable access to the reported content without prior notice to the uploader. For details on how to submit a formal request, please refer to our Notice & Takedown Policy in the Terms of Use.
5. Data Storage & Security
We prioritize your privacy and ensure that all personal and media data shared with Kaaso Ads is handled with care and protected using industry-standard technologies.
a) Encrypted Communication
All communication between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher) to prevent unauthorized access or data interception.
b) Secure File Storage
All media files you upload (images, videos, audio) are stored on Cloud -Google/Amazon/Microsoft, which offers industry-grade reliability and built-in encryption at rest and in transit.
c) Access Control
Your data is only accessible to you and the systems responsible for processing it. We implement strict access controls and follow least-privilege principles in all internal tooling.
d) No Unnecessary Data Collection
We only store the data required to deliver the services you explicitly use. We do not collect or retain any hidden metadata or behavioral analytics at this time.
e) Data Retention
Your uploaded content is stored as long as your account is active. You may delete content or request complete account deletion at any time by contacting our support team.
6. Third-Party Services
Kaaso Ads is designed to operate as a privacy-respecting platform. At this time, we do not integrate with any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
a) Google Sign-In
We use Google Sign-In solely to authenticate users and create accounts securely. We do not access or share any data beyond what is authorized by you during login.
b) No Analytics or Tracking Tools
We do not currently use any tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDKs, or ad attribution networks. Your in-app activity is not logged for marketing or behavioral profiling.
c) Future Integrations
If we ever decide to integrate third-party services in the future (e.g., crash reporting, usage analytics), this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. We will also seek your consent where required.
7. Your Rights & Controls
We believe in giving users full control over their personal data. At Kaaso Ads, you have the following rights regarding your information stored with us:
a) View Your Information
You can view your profile information (such as name, email, business details) directly inside the app under account settings.
b) Edit or Update Information
You can update your business name, logo, and other editable data at any time using the provided interface inside the app.
c) Sign Out or Disconnect Google Account
You may choose to sign out of the app or disconnect your Google account. Upon signing out, no background access to your Google profile occurs.
d) Delete Your Content
You can delete your uploaded media files and ad campaigns at any time from within the app. This content is permanently removed from our servers.
e) Request Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, simply email us at kaaso.ads@gmail.com. We will process your request within 5 working days.
8. Children’s Privacy
Kaaso Ads is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals in this age group.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a user under the age of 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete such data as quickly as possible.
